Parents Right to Know

HB402 - "Edna Mae McGovern Act" Water Safety Act: HB 402 - "Edna Mae McGovern Act"= Requires each public school to provide parents or students over 18 years of age wit information on water safety. The Calhoun County School System recognizes the importance of  water safety education and how it can save lives. Parents are encouraged to enroll their child(ern) in a program or class to teach water safety and swimming lessons.
