Superintendent's Message

On behalf of the Calhoun County School Board and myself, welcome to Calhoun County Schools.

The Calhoun County School District is very proud of its rich tradition of excellence.

Throughout our long history, we have been recognized as a progressive school system, not satisfied with merely meeting minimum standards, but striving to be a leader in educational excellence. I pledge our relentless effort to make all of our schools world-class institutions of learning with a focus on preparing our young people to be outstanding, productive adults.

As an organization, the Calhoun County School District strives to provide a safe and inviting learning environment with high expectations for all, while focusing on the development of the whole child in the areas of their academic, social, emotional, and physical well-being. Our excellent staff provides students with both rigorous and rewarding academic and extracurricular experiences.

We have much to be thankful for in the Calhoun County School District. However, we understand that excellence and success are not guaranteed forever. We cannot be satisfied with our past successes alone, but must continuously strive for excellence each day.
