The 2017-2018 graduation rate for Calhoun County increased to 89.4% from 89.1% the previous year. The Georgia Department of Education released scores yesterday for all Georgia high schools.
The state's graduation rate reached 81.6 percent which is up from 80.6 percent in the prior year. CCSS graduation rate is higher than the state’s average.
Interim Superintendent Sheraca Harvey sent a congratulatory message to the faculty and staff in announcing the achievement. "Thank you for your hard work, commitment, and the sacrifices you have made to help our students achieve the goal of graduating from high school," added Harvey.
