My teaching philosophy: As a secondary education Social Studies teacher, I am committed to helping with the growth and evolution of students. Students should learn our history so that they see how history has impacted their lives. I believe this will inspire them to make positive impacts in the future.

“Engaged students are the most effective scholars. My goal is to keep the students engaged through discussions and hypothetical/opinion based questions. I also plan to use electronic tools for engaged learning as well as field trips, and other hands-on activities. A student that can form an opinion can think which is the first step in being successful.

I plan to show my students how important they are as well as their education. I plan to gain the trust of my students by showing them that we are all humans within our learning environment. Mistakes will be made. Lastly, I plan to ignite a fire of added inspiration for the purposes of educational, professional advancement of students by educating them on all of the positivity that the world has to offer as a reward of hard work and dedication.
