Dear Parents and Students:
Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year at Calhoun County Elementary School! We are already off to a fantastic start to the school year as our faculty and staff have been working very diligently to prepare for the quality education we will provide for our students this year. This year, we will bring a fresh outlook and a different perspective to educating the students in our school! We will be building upon past successes and winning traditions, and combining them with an intense focus on continuous school improvement. This process will require much change, but it will propel our school toward improved instruction and greater student achievement! Part of this change is that we will be seeking greater input from all school stakeholders in an effort to provide our community with the quality education that we all want for our kids. Thus, we hope to forge stronger partnerships with our parents and community so that everyone will have a voice in the education of our students. Together, we will focus on making decisions that are in the best interests of our students. In all, we want everyone to be included in making decisions about the education of our children so that our school will become the best it can possibly be!
Indeed, it is a great time to be a Cougar at Calhoun County Elementary School! The changes that are already occurring within our school will, no doubt, lead to greater success for our students. We are excited about the possibilities that the new school year will bring as we all come together with a common purpose for educating our kids! As we move forward into the 2018-2019 school year, it is very important to realize that, “We are all in this together, and together we will all succeed!” Let’s have a great school year at CCES!
